Melaka has a fantastic cafe scene, many beautiful cafes scattered around town, offering mouthwatering foods and charming ambience. I had a wonderful time exploring the best of the best!
The Daily Fix Cafe instantly became my favourite! Everything from tasty food to lively jazz music and attentive staff. All you need from a good artsy cafe, I had to return a few times.
Due to the popularity of the food, amongst locals and travelers, The Daily Fix Cafe is always busy. That’s a good sign though!
How to get there
Right in the middle of Jonker Street, located in the old town of Melaka. It’s convenient to walk to from the main tourist spots.

The Coffee
The Daily Fix Cafe have their own coffee roasters in the nearby sister cafe Sin See Tai, located on a quiet street of Jalan Jawa. Sin See Tai are a small local coffee roasters, they focus on the quality of the coffee and exploring their unique recipe.
Often they mix Sin See Tai roast with a special Guest Roasters, ask about it when you’re visiting!
The Menu
Wide variety of options, Daily Fix Cafe offers various healthy salads, special local foods and unique twists on the western mains. Prices range around RM13 – RM 25 for a main.
Recommended to try: Lemongrass Chicken Burger
I haven’t personally tried this, but after visiting and speaking with the staff everyone was very excited for it! Have a try and let me know if you like it!
Pandan Pancakes

Before coming here I did some research, already knowing that Pandan Pancakes are the best and often sold out before it’s noon. I had to try them!
They were the fluffiest pancakes! Fantastic blend of pandan and coconut with a local special Gula Melaka. One of the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time.
I also tasted Classic Pancakes! Just as fluffy and wonderful as Pandan Pancakes. Classic Pancakes come with strawberries, honey, maple syrup and butter.
